ABOUT ME

"A day without laughter is a day wasted".

- Charlie Chaplin

Laughter was never a thing that came easy to me. I remember at the age of 21 how my university lecturer advised me to smile more often because, as he quoted, "You might actually change the way you feel and look".  With that thought in mind I began to consciously practice smiling and laughing, even if I didn't really feel like it. Those were and still are the days where I feel the transformative power of the practice the most. Soon I started to notice that I felt differently, in many positive ways. I had more energy, motivation, I was creating more, procrastinating less and my relationships between family and friends became stronger.

Laughing became my medicine and I started to realise the importance of practicing regularly, which brought more happiness, self awareness and balance into my life. Smiling and laughing helps me to fight against my everyday stresses, judgements and to move through stuck emotions inside my body.

I am continuously learning many things about myself through this practice. With mindful laughter I have the opportunity to invite more lightness and childlike playfulness into my life.

In 2016 I graduated from The University of Laughter Yoga in Congleton, UK and have since been passionately facilitating group, one 2 one and online, 'Zoom' Mindful Laughter sessions in Liverpool, UK and currently in Berlin, Germany.

My other passions and sources of inspiration, which I integrate into my Mindful Laughter sessions come from Cold Water Exposure (Wim Hof Method)Body Percussion, Qi Gong and dance/movement based practices such as 5Rhythms, Gaga and Animal Flow.

It is my wish to share and spread as much playfulness, connection, laughter and compassion as I possibly can.
